Employment and Pensions

The firm's Employment and Pensions group advises on a broad range of employment law issues including those relating to mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and other transactions. In addition to transaction related advice, the group provides comprehensive advice on traditional employment law matters such as the preparation of employment contracts, dismissals, collective redundancies, employment aspects of restriction of competition, as well as trade union consultations and employment disputes.

Our specialists also advise on the drafting and implementation of employee handbooks and policies, the employment of foreign labour and secondments, working environment law, including criminal matters within occupational health and safety. We have broad experience within the employee benefits field including terms of engagement and termination of key senior personnel, benefits and flexible remuneration packages, and equity incentive schemes, both in Sweden and internationally. Further, our expertise includes pension law matters.

The vast majority of our clients are corporations, mostly large or medium-sized Swedish and international companies. The firm's Employment and Pensions group consists of more than 20 lawyers, some of whom deal exclusively with employment law and pensions while others handle related areas such as litigation, corporate taxation, and mergers and acquisitions. Due to the size and structure of the group, we are able to ensure a high level of availability, as well as an ability to combine wide-ranging legal knowledge of various aspects of the labour market with cutting-edge competence in employment law and pensions.
