Johan Ljungberg is a partner at Mannheimer Swartling, co-head of the firm’s M&A practice group and a member of the firm’s industry sector groups within Energy and Shipping, Transport and Logistics. Johan has more than 20 years of experience advising on domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, divestments, co-investments, joint ventures, carve-outs, restructurings and privatisations, as well as on corporate matters.

Johan regularly advises both corporate clients and financial sponsors, including private equity funds, asset managers, investment companies, institutional investors and founders. He also has significant experience from representing family owner companies and has advised on several high-profile privatisations of state- and municipality-owned businesses. Johan has extensive experience in transactions involving regulated businesses and has been involved in numerous deals within energy (renewable and conventional), infrastructure, shipping, transport and logistics, technology/medtech, healthcare and life sciences, among others.
