InterTank Nordic acquires Nordic Storage and brings in La Petrolifera Italo Rumena S.p.A. (PIR) as new majority owner

InterTank Nordic AB has acquired all shares in Nordic Storage AB from Acquarius Energy.

Nordic Storage AB is one of the largest storage companies for liquid bulk products within the energy sector in Scandinavia, with a capacity of over one million cubic metres and seven storage terminals in both Sweden and Denmark.

InterTank Nordic AB, whose business consists of handling and storing liquid bulk products within the energy sector, has in connection with the acquisition brought in PIR as the new majority owner. PIR has been operating in the storage and handling of liquid bulk products for a century and already has terminals in Italy, Albania and Tunisia. With this latest acquisition, PIR has doubled its storage capacity, reaching approximately two million cubic meters between the Mediterranean Sea and Scandinavia.
