Obligo establishes platform for investments in Swedish wind power assets together with Slitevind and Amundi
Obligo Investment Management, Slitevind and Amundi Transition Energetique, Europe’s largest asset manager, have established a platform for investments in Swedish wind power assets though the joint venture company Eagle Wind JV AB.
The first investment comprises three wind turbines in southern Sweden, two commissioned Enercon E82 and one Vestas V100, operational around 2015 with a total production capacity of approximately 20 GWh. The purpose of the joint venture is to build a portfolio of operational wind turbines in the next few years and to reach an annual production capacity of initially a few hundred GWh.
Mannheimer Swartling assisted in connection with the establishment of the new investment platform and advised Obligo in the transaction.
