The Professional Development Programme (PDP) covers your first six years at the firm. The programme includes training in specific legal topics, along with other areas such as business management, legal English, negotiating techniques, professional ethics, rhetoric, digital tools and entrepreneurship.

The PDP enables you to develop your legal skills and understanding of our clients’ businesses. The first two years of the programme give you a thorough understanding of the firm’s approach to substantive law within the various practice groups. You will also receive training in many other aspects of our day-to-day work.

As you become more senior at the firm, your PDP training will focus on commercial awareness, negotiating techniques, rhetoric and project management. In parallel with the programme, you will also continue to receive further training in your specific area of legal practice.
