Outsourcing of bus transportation in Nacka/Värmdö and Huddinge/Botkyrka/Southern Stockholm completed
The Stockholm Public Transport Authority (PTA) has entered into two agreements with Nobina with an estimated contract value of approx. SEK 13 billion for the operation of public bus transportation in Nacka/Värmdö and Huddinge/Botkyrka/Southern Stockholm as from April 2023.
The PTA is responsible for arranging public transportation services in the Stockholm region. The assignments include e.g. traffic operation, rolling stock maintenance, customer-oriented services and other maintenance services. The agreements were awarded after a competitive sourcing process. The assignments comprise 75 million passengers per year and has a duration of ten years from commencement of operation.
