Alfa Laval acquires Scanjet
On 16 June 2022, Alfa Laval Corporate AB has signed an agreement to acquire Scanjet Holding AB.
Scanjet is a leading global supplier and producer of tank cleaning equipment and solutions for marine, offshore and industrial applications. Through the acquisition of Scanjet, Alfa Laval expands its tank range and establishes a more extensive product portfolio for cargo ships. Scanjet’s intelligent tank solutions will complement Alfa Laval’s sustainable marine product range and create even higher efficiency for Alfa Laval’s customers.
Scanjet has a global presence with factories in Sweden, Poland and Indonesia and a turnover of approximately 300 million SEK.
The completion of the acquisition is subject to relevant regulatory approvals.
