Hampus Thofte is the head of Mannheimer Swartling’s office in New York. Hampus is active within the areas of Private M&A, Funds & Investments and Securities Law. He regularly advises Nordic clients in connection with the sale and purchase of assets and operations in the US, as well as US clients in matters relating to the Nordic market. Hampus is also experienced in US securities laws relevant to Nordic companies active in the US, especially with respect to public company rights issues and US private placements in connection with Nordic IPO:s, as well as early stage capital raises from US investors. Hampus holds a Swedish LL.M. and a Graduate Degree in Economics, as well as a US LL.M. in Comparative Law, and he is a member of both the New York State Bar Association and the Swedish Bar Association.
