Castellum and Port of Gothenburg establish a joint venture concerning a new Nordic logistics hub
Castellum and the Port of Gothenburg have agreed to jointly develop the area Halvorsäng, situated in close proximity of the Port of Gothenburg, into a leading logistics hub.
The collaboration will take place within the framework of a joint venture company where the parties own equal parts (50/50). Through the JV company, the parties will jointly develop, design and build logistics properties within Halvorsäng and subsequently own, manage and rent out the logistics premises. The land area amounts to approximately 270,000 sq.m. of land area, of which approximately 145,000 sq.m. is building area. The Halvorsäng area is intended to be fully developed within 4 years.
