New (Swedish) edition of A Guide to Commercial Dispute Resolution
We are now launching the fourth Swedish edition of the book “A Guide to Commercial Dispute Resolution” (Guide till kommersiell tvistlösning). The book provides a structured overview of the different dispute resolution alternatives available to parties.
The guide also provides concrete advice for anyone negotiating dispute resolution clauses with foreign opposing parties regarding, for example, the selection of seat for arbitration proceedings and applicable law. The reader is provided with a reference for model clauses and examples of how certain dispute resolution issues can be regulated. As a whole, the guide provides concrete guidance for anyone who has reason to consider appropriate dispute resolution clauses for Swedish and/or international commercial agreements.
This new edition contains a general overview and update up to and including January 2021. New sections have been added on third-party funding and digitization; phenomena that increasingly affect the conditions for commercial dispute resolution.
The authors are Robin Oldenstam, Kristoffer Löf, Jakob Ragnwaldh, Alexander Foerster, Fredrik Ringquist, Robin Rylander and Christoffer Monell from the Dispute Resolution practice group at Mannheimer Swartling.
