Marcus Irajinia Berglie specialises in international and domestic commercial arbitration, litigation, and corporate crime matters. He has represented client corporations across diverse industry sectors in high-stakes SCC, ICC, and UNCITRAL arbitrations, including emergency arbitral proceedings. Marcus also sits as an arbitrator and is a graduate of the SAA/SCC Arbitrator Training Programme.

In the field of litigation, Marcus has notable experience in, amongst others, corporate accountability cases, securities fraud disputes, and asset recovery. Drawing on his experience as a criminal defence lawyer, he also regularly advises corporate clients in relation to domestic and cross-border criminal investigations, proceedings that may result in corporate criminal sanctions, and crime-related civil disputes.

Beyond client work, Marcus frequently lectures on corporate criminal law and procedural law. He also manages Mannheimer Swartling’s pro bono casework for Centrum för rättvisa, Sweden’s most renowned non-profit public interest law firm.
