Johanna Jonsson specialises in public procurement and has more than 17 years of experience advising on public procurement matters. Having worked both in private practice and as in-house legal counsel for a contracting authority, she has a broad understanding of the legal and commercial considerations arising on both sides of public sector transactions.
Johanna regularly advises Swedish and international clients, including both suppliers and public sector entities, throughout all stages of procurement procedures and the performance of public contracts. Her work includes strategic advice before and during procurements, tendering and tender evaluation, contractual matters, as well as procurement challenges and other public procurement disputes.
In addition to public procurement, Johanna advises on a broad range of public law matters, including municipal law, public access to information and confidentiality, as well as competition issues relating to commercial activities carried out by public entities. She also has particular experience of public law issues arising in complex projects and transactions, where procurement and other public law considerations need to be addressed alongside commercial and regulatory matters.
