Sandberg Development divests shares in Camurus

Mannheimer Swartling has advised Sandberg Development AB (Sandberg Development) in connection with a divestment of shares in Camurus AB (Camurus).

Sandberg Development has divested 1,345,000 shares in Camurus at a price of SEK 550 per share, corresponding to proceeds of approximately SEK 740 million. The sale to Swedish and international institutional investors was carried out through a so-called club deal. Following the divestment, Sandberg Development continues to hold the equivalent of 35.4 per cent of both the capital and the votes in Camurus, leaving Sandberg Development as the largest shareholder.

Sandberg Development is a family-owned investment company that contributes to growth and social value through active ownership of innovation-driven companies – focusing on water technology, quality of life, and security. Turnover for the Group in 2023 amounted to SEK 2.1 billion.
