Obligo establishes Obligo Nordic Climate Impact Fund
Mannheimer Swartling has acted as lead legal counsel for Obligo in connection with the structuring, fundraising and establishment of Obligo’s first primary infrastructure fund with sustainable investments as investment objective. The fund is an Article 9 fund in accordance with the SFDR and will focus on direct investments in infrastructure assets within the lower-mid market in the Nordic region with climate impact.
The Obligo Group is an independent alternative asset manager based in Oslo and Stockholm. The Obligo Group manage both direct and indirect investments in real estate, infrastructure and private equity and manages EUR 1.2 billion in commitments. The fund is based on a Swedish AB-structure, where the investors invest through either principal-linked participating debentures or preference shares.
