Göteborg Energi procures a new business support system
Göteborg Energi AB (“GE”) has completed a public procurement of a new service based business support solution for the entire GE group.
The procurement of the support solution has been part of an internal change project within the GE group with focus on consolidation and efficiency. GE has as part of its change work had a strategic ambition to replace its current business support solutions with a centralised business support solution from an external service provider covering, among other things, customer relationship management, invoice management, product and offerings management, template tools, mailing services and a new customer portal.
The contract has been awarded Tieto Sweden AB (“Tieto”) and has a term of five years with a possibility for further extensions. Tieto will under the contract assume a comprehensive responsibility for the solution, including the responsibility for implementation as well as maintenance and support. The procured business support solution will be implemented and integrated with the GE group’s existing IT-infrastructure starting during the autumn of 2017.
