Belnord Capital obtains authorisation as an alternative investment fund manager
On 30 June 2026, the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority granted Belnord Capital AB authorisation as a manager of alternative investment funds (AIF manager).
Belnord is a Stockholm-based alternative investment fund manager specialized in GP solutions, primarily in secondaries and co-investments, that forges strategic partnerships with European mid-market private equity managers. Belnord previously operated as a registered AIF manager and applied to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority for full authorisation as an authorised AIF manager as part of its continued growth journey.
Mannheimer Swartling has acted as adviser to Belnord throughout the authorisation process. The firm’s team consisted mainly of Carl Johan Zimdahl, Caroline Karlsson and Alina Kaiser, with support from other practice groups.
