Starbreeze AB (publ) has carried out a rights issue of approximately MSEK 450.

On 28 April 2023, the Board of Directors of Starbreeze resolved on a rights issue of approximately MSEK 450. The Board of Directors’ resolution on the rights issue was approved by an extraordinary general meeting held on 24 May 2023. The net proceeds from the rights issue are intended be used to accelerate investments in game development and third-party publishing to achieve further growth and a diversified games portfolio as well as to strengthen the company’s balance sheet through a MSEK 150 debt repayment.

Starbreeze is an independent developer, creator, publisher and distributor of PC and console targeting the global market, with studios in Stockholm, Barcelona, Paris and London. Housing the smash hit IP PAYDAY, Starbreeze develops games based on proprietary and third-party rights, both in-house and in partnership with external game developers. Starbreeze’s shares are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
