Kunda Nordic Tsement AS divests Port of Kunda

The Estonian cement producer Kunda Nordic Tsement has divested its port operations in Kunda, Estonia, to Baltic Maritime Logistics Group.

Port of Kunda is the fifth largest port in Estonia by volume and handles more than 1.5 million tons of cargo, mainly within timber and dry bulk.

Kunda Nordic Tsement is a member of the HeidelbergCement Group, a market leader within aggregates and a prominent player in the fields of cement, concrete and other downstream activities, making it one of the world’s largest manufacturers of building materials. The group employs some 59,000 people at 3,000 of locations in 60 countries.

HeidelbergCement and Kunda Nordic Tsement were advised by Mannheimer Swartling, in cooperation with Derling Primus, Estonia in the transaction.
