Jan Dernestam was Mannheimer Swartling’s Managing Partner between 2011 and 2026 and was a member of the firm’s Board of Directors between 2009 and 2026. Before taking on this role, he specialised in all kinds of finance law focusing in particular on leasing and asset finance, loan financing, acquisition financing and structured financing. He worked in particular with cross-border leasing of aircraft, trains and ships, export financing, bond issues as well as regulatory work for banks and finance companies.
