Jan Dernestam was appointed as Mannheimer Swartling’s Managing Partner in 2011 and has been a member of the firm’s Board of Directors since 2009. Before taking on this role, he specialised in all kinds of finance law focusing in particular on leasing and asset finance, loan financing, acquisition financing and structured financing. He worked in particular with cross-border leasing of aircraft, trains and ships, export financing, bond issues as well as regulatory work for banks and finance companies.
