The shares in Arjo are distributed to the shareholders in Getinge and listed on Nasdaq Stockholm

Arjo AB (publ) (“Arjo”), the former Patient & Post-Acute Care business area of Getinge AB (“Getinge”), is now a separately listed company with its shares of series B trading on Nasdaq Stockholm.

On 12 December 2017, the shares of series B in Arjo were admitted to trading on Nasdaq Stockholm, following a distribution of the shares to the shareholders in Getinge. Following the resolution on distribution and the listing of Arjo, the Getinge Group is divided into two independent, listed companies, Arjo which consist of the former Patient & Post-Acute Care business area and the related area Flusher Disinfection and Getinge with the remaining business areas Surgical Workflows and Acute Cate Therapies. Following the split, both Getinge and Arjo are expected to have a more dedicated business focus, with more opportunities to continue to develop tailored products and solutions to meet the specific needs of their respective customers, where Arjo’s business is more patient focused.

Arjo’s offering includes products and solutions within the areas of patient handling, hygiene, disinfection, medical beds, therapeutic surfaces, venous thromboembolism prevention and diagnostics within obstetrics and cardiology.
