New pro bono partnership between Mannheimer Swartling and Fryshuset
Fryshuset is a foundation that supports young people and give them the opportunity to develop, find their identity and feel part of society. Mannheimer Swartling and Fryshuset are now entering into a partnership, in which the firm will provide free legal advice that will contribute to Fryshuset’s important work of creating venues where hope is given, and relationships are built that enable young people to grow.
“We are very pleased to enter into this partnership with Fryshuset, which through its valuable efforts contributes to a community development characterised by trust in young people’s abilities, and acts as a driving force for positive change”, says Jan Dernestam, Managing Partner at Mannheimer Swartling.
“A long-term partnership with Mannheimer Swartling is very important to us”, says Johan Oljeqvist, CEO of Fryshuset. “This enables us to develop our operations to an even greater extent and ensure that more young people – regardless of background, interest and ambition – get a safe place at Fryshuset where they can engage and develop”, Johan continues.
Fryshuset is a religiously and politically independent non-profit organisation that runs around 60 activities around Sweden, from culture and entertainment to projects that meet the biggest social challenges of our time. Through their meeting places, they reach 12,000 unique young people every month and offer them opportunities to grow and develop based on their own conditions.
