Mannheimer Swartling continues to strengthen its cutting-edge expertise within Corporate Taxation and VAT

Mannheimer Swartling’s Corporate Taxation practice group has many years of experience from several of the largest projects and transactions in the nation. The team is continuously ranked as one of Sweden’s leading income tax advisers by the top ranking institutes. In 2020, the group and the firm took a big step in the field of VAT when one of Sweden’s leading VAT experts joined the firm as a partner within Corporate Taxation. Now, Mannheimer Swartling continues to strengthen its VAT offering.

The firm’s Corporate Taxation team totals around ten lawyers. The group advises on major projects such as M&A and real estate transactions, fund establishments, incentive programs, restructuring and financing. The team also advise on routine tax matters and conduct tax litigation.

Thanks to its long-standing relationships with selected tax advisors around the world, the team also handles tax issues of an international nature.

In 2020, Joachim Agrell, ranked as one of Sweden’s leading VAT experts, joined the Corporate Taxation team. The firm’s ambition is to put together a small group with absolute cutting-edge expertise in the field of VAT.

As part of the initiative, Mannheimer Swartling is now hiring a skilled VAT lawyer with at least five years’ experience who want to join the Corporate Taxation team.
