AI and digital tools
AI
We integrate AI into our operations to streamline workflows and elevate our legal services. Advances in generative AI allow us to automate routine tasks and free up time to focus on complex, strategic matters. AI can be used to review large volumes of material, conduct predictive analysis, and enhance risk management and compliance.
We foster an environment where our lawyers are encouraged to develop and share AI-driven solutions. This bottom-up approach has led to organic growth in AI adoption and empowered our team to use the technology effectively while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and security. All of our employees are actively encouraged to rethink and redesign how we advise clients by making use of AI. Our toolkit includes:
Trubl
Acquired by the firm in May 2024, Trubl is a revolutionary AI-powered tool designed specifically for Swedish law and legal research. To our knowledge, Trubl is unmatched in its ability to analyse Swedish legal issues and deliver first draft analyses – enabling faster, more thorough insights for legal questions.
Leya
In September 2023, we welcomed Leya, a leading European legal tech startup with a generative AI platform, to MSA Innovation Lab. Leya automates repetitive tasks, compares and summarises documents, and extracts insights through targeted analysis – freeing up time for lawyers to focus on complex legal matters.
Litigation research and analysis
We use an AI-powered eDiscovery platform for due diligence. Its advanced search algorithms, intelligent filtering, and dynamic data visualisation help uncover critical insights with speed and precision.
Custom AI tools development
Using Trubl’s codebase and AI-driven development methods, we are building an in-house software library to rapidly prototype and deploy AI applications tailored to specific legal challenges.
Investment in AI training and expertise
We invest in training our lawyers to use AI tools effectively, ensuring they are well-prepared to serve our clients with technology-driven solutions.
Digital tools
We strive to be at the forefront of digital development, using a range of tools to deliver faster and more accurate solutions to our clients.
We continuously evaluate new tools, create bespoke solutions and cultivate skills and partnerships that support our digital goals. We use a number of other tools including MSA Collaborate – our bespoke HighQ platform for transactions – automated drafting, translation, and co-authoring.
