Mannheimer Swartling advised on policy work regarding the screening of outbound investments

Mannheimer Swartling has assisted the Technology Industries of Sweden (Teknikföretagen) and the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association (SOFF) in policy work concerning how the EU can regulate European companies’ investments outside the EU, particularly in the fields of AI, advanced semiconductors, and quantum technology.

The work resulted in a number of concrete principles for how an EU regulatory framework should be designed. More information is available in the report.
