KKR acquires a significant minority stake in Etraveli Group

KKR, a leading investment firm, has agreed to acquire a significant minority stake in Etraveli Group, a global technology company facilitating over €15 billion of flight sales annually. The investment creates a strategic partnership between KKR and current owner CVC Capital Partners, a leading global private markets manager, that will reinforce the company’s position as the world’s largest flight intermediary outside of China.

Stockholm-based Etraveli Group operates a flight technology platform serving nearly 50 million travelers yearly across 75 markets. The company sells airline tickets through its own brands like Gotogate, Mytrip, and Flightnetwork, and provides booking services to global partners including Booking.com, Radisson Hotel Group, and TUI.

The new investment reinforces KKR’s dedication to supporting European market leaders and fostering the development of high-quality technology-driven enterprises.

Mannheimer Swartling advised KKR in the transaction.
