Heidelberg Materials acquires NCC’s Industry business in Sweden and Norway
Heidelberg Materials Nordics has entered into an agreement to acquire NCC’s aggregates and asphalt operations in Sweden and Norway. The acquisition strengthens Heidelberg Materials’ presence in the Swedish and Norwegian markets and complements its existing operations in, among other areas, cement, aggregates and concrete.
The acquired business comprises 106 aggregates sites and 44 asphalt plants in Sweden and Norway. The transaction represents an enterprise value of approximately SEK 5.5 billion and is subject to approval by the relevant authorities.
