Duni AB acquires shares in BioPak Pty Ltd
Duni has on 15 October acquired 75 percent of the shares in BioPak Pty Ltd for a purchase price of approx. MSEK 410. BioPak is a leading supplier of sustainable packaging for the food service industry in Australia and New Zealand with an annual turnover of approx. MSEK 385. The founders will remain active in BioPak and will be a part of the management team going forward.
In February this year, Duni acquired shares in the UK-based company Kindtoo Ltd., trading as Biopac UK (advised by Mannheimer Swartling). Due to the synergies identified in product assortment and market approach between BioPak and Biopac UK, it was decided that the shares in Biopac UK was to be transferred to BioPak as a part of the transaction.
