Blykalla completes SEK 80 million financing round
The Swedish nuclear power company Blykalla AB (”Blykalla”) has completed a SEK 80 million financing round.
The financing round was led by Norrsken Launcher and Nucleation Capital.
Blykalla is specializing in the production of advanced small modular reactors (SMRs) using liquid lead cooling and the company aims to deliver Sweden’s next nuclear power reactor within this decade. The raised capital will be instrumental in the development of Blykalla’s test reactor, which is an important step in the industrialisation of Blykalla’s reactor, called ”the SEALER” (Swedish Advanced Lead-cooled Reactor).
Blykalla was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction.
