Trygg-Stiftelsen divests shares in SEB

Mannheimer Swartling has advised Trygg-Stiftelsen in connection with divestment of shares in Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ) (SEB)

Trygg-Stiftelsen has divested 75,000,000 shares in SEB at a price of SEK 120 per share, corresponding to proceeds of SEK 9 billion. The divestment was made by means of an accelerated book-building procedure addressed to institutional investors. The divested shares represent approximately 3.5 per cent of the shares and votes in SEB.

Trygg-Stiftelsen is a forum for policyholders’ influence over Gamla Livförsäkringsaktiebolaget SEB Trygg Liv. The purpose is to act in favour of the policyholders in order to achieve good future growth on the value of the insurances as well as good ongoing insurance administration.
