Handicare divests its European Patient Handling business
Handicare has divested its European Patient Handling business (including all Patient Handling operations outside North America) to Direct Healthcare Group, a UK based industrial player with several strong brands within healthcare and patient handling.
The European Patient Handling business offers medical devices that simplify patient transfers within the institutional and home care settings. The divestment is a result of Handicare’s strategic review announced in connection with the Q3 report 2019.
Handicare was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction.
