Bank syndicate provides EUR 700 million sustainability-linked financing to Tele2

A bank syndicate consisting of Crédit Agricole CIB, Deutsche Bank, DNB, ING, Nordea, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken, Svenska Handelsbanken and Swedbank have entered into a sustainability-linked revolving credit facility of EUR 700 million with Tele2 as borrower.

The new revolving credit facility refinances and replaces the company’s existing financing of EUR 760 million and the revolving credit facility is intended to be used towards general corporate purposes and working capital requirements. The margin adjustments under the revolving credit facility are conditional upon Tele2’s performance with respect to certain sustainability targets within climate and gender equality.

The bank syndicate was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in connection with the entering into of the revolving credit facility and the incorporation of the sustainability criteria.
