Aira Group AB closes series B financing
The Swedish heat pump company Aira Group AB (“Aira”) has completed a EUR 145 million series B financing round.
The series B investors include leading climate tech investors from Europe, the US and Asia.
Focused on heat pumps, Aira aims to accelerate the electrification of residential heating with intelligent clean energy-tech solutions and the company sets to become Europe’s number one direct-to-consumer brand in its field. The equity funding will enable Aira to further accelerate the electrification of residential heating in Europe, driving decarbonisation and reducing dependence on natural gas imports. Aira’s production of heat pumps is expected to start in the first half of 2024.
