Ahlsell procures automated warehouse system
Ahlsell AB has entered into an agreement with KNAPP regarding the manufacturing, installation and commissioning of a new automated warehouse system (ASR Automated Storage and Retrieval System) in Ahlsell’s central storage facility in Hallsberg. The automated warehouse system will form an integrated part of Ahlsell’s pre-existent storage facility systems. The procurement is a step in Ahlsell’s strategic investments in the central storage facility with the aim to ensure a high logistic capacity and production flow.
Ahlsell AB is a Nordic distributor of installation products, industrial products, tools and supplies for professional buyers. The parent company is a large-cap listed company on Nasdaq Stockholm.
The KNAPP group, based in Austria, is an international supplier of high technological warehouse systems.
