Nima Energy to be acquired by Vattenfall

The shareholders of Nima Energy AB have entered into an agreement to sell all shares in Nima Energy to Vattenfall AB.

Nima Energy has built a strong position in Swedish ultra-fast charging by developing high-capacity charging infrastructure in cities and along key transport routes, serving both professional drivers, including taxis and fleets, and private EV drivers.

As part of Vattenfall, Nima Energy will gain a long-term strategic and well-capitalised owner with the scale and resources to accelerate the continued build-out of its network. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary conditions. The transaction relates to Nima Energy’s Swedish operations, while its operations outside Sweden will remain with the current shareholders.

Mannheimer Swartling advised the founders of Nima Energy in connection with the transaction. The firm’s team consisted primarily of Per Åsbrink, Mikaela Wedbäck Pizevska, Sofie Andersson and Jens Meynert.
