Blykalla closes USD 50 million financing round
The Swedish nuclear power company Blykalla AB (”Blykalla”) has completed a USD 50 million financing round.
The financing round was led by Oklo, Norrsken Launcher and Armada Investment.
Blykalla specialises in the production of advanced small modular reactors (SMRs) using liquid lead as a coolant. The new capital will be used to accelerate the industrialisation and commercialisation of Blykalla’s test reactor, called ”SEALER”.
Blykalla was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team primarily consists of Carolina Dackö, Maria Holme, Alice Engström, Victoria Hedell, Alma Jakobsson, Adina Lamborn, Sofia Mossberg and Alva Westher.
