Inwido acquires Westcoast Windows

Inwido has acquired Westcoast Windows, manufacturer of windows and sliding doors, with manufacturing in Trollhättan, Sweden.

The business, which in 2021 had around 80 employees and a turnover of SEK 164 million, will now become part of Inwido’s Scandinavian business area.

Westcoast Windows currently sells its products primarily through builders’ merchants, with homeowners and co-operative housing associations as major customer groups. A part of the production is exported to England, where the company has its own sales organisation. The business will continue to operate as a separate business unit within the Scandinavian business area, while the company will benefit from synergies with Inwido’s central purchasing organisation and other business units in Sweden.

Inwido was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction.
