Mannheimer Swartling Elects Seven New Partners
Mannheimer Swartling is proud to announce the election of Rickard Carrick, Maria Holme, Aleksander Ivarsson, Daniel Khayyami, Caroline Perlström, Jon Rastad and Robin Rylander as new partners.

Newly elected partners
Rickard Carrick is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Malmö. Rickard assists clients in various kinds of corporate transactions, including bilaterally negotiated transactions, sales auctions, national and international transactions, share transfers and asset transfers, joint ventures, restructurings and minority investments. Rickard particularly specialises in transactions within the fields of Life Science and Technology.
Rickard joined the firm in 2011. He is a member of the Swedish Bar Association and has an LL.M. degree and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from the University of Lund.
Maria Holme is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Stockholm. Her practice includes advising on M&A transactions and structuring issues, and she works with clients from a wide range of sectors and industries.
Maria joined the firm in 2012 and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. She has an LL.M. degree from the University of Lund.
Aleksander Ivarsson is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Public M&A and Equity Capital Markets practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Gothenburg. Aleksander specialises in securities law and works with all types of public transactions. Aleksander also advises listed companies on corporate governance and information disclosure matters.
Aleksander joined the firm in 2010 and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. He has an LL.M. degree from the University of Lund.
Daniel Khayyami is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Banking and Finance practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Stockholm. Daniel specialises in financial law with a particular focus on various Swedish and international financing transactions, structured financing, restructurings and workouts in connection with distressed financing.
Daniel joined the firm in 2013 and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. He has an LL.M. degree from the University of Uppsala.
Caroline Perlström is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Environment practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Gothenburg. She advises clients on a wide range of environmental matters. Her practice includes helping clients with environmental permit applications and risk assessments in transactions.
Caroline joined the firm in 2010 and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. She has an LL.M. degree from the University of Gothenburg.
Jon Rastad is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Stockholm. Jon’s practice includes advising on M&A transactions and on corporate legal matters in clients’ day-today operations. He works with clients in a wide range of sectors and industries.
Jon joined the firm in 2011 and has an LL.M. degree from Stockholm University.
Robin Rylander is a member of Mannheimer Swartling’s Dispute Resolution practice group and is based in the firm’s office in Stockholm. He has previous experience form working at the firm’s office in New York. Robin advises clients in all stages of a dispute – from the early case assessments and claim letters to settlement negotiations and proceedings before Swedish courts and Swedish and international arbitral tribunals.
Robin joined the firm in 2011 and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. He has an LL.M. degree from Uppsala University.
