Infracapital divests Falbygdens Energi

Infracapital, the Infrastructure equity investment arm of M&G Plc, has agreed the sale of its 100% stake in Falbygdens Energi AB (“FEAB”) to Nordion Energi AB. FEAB is an integrated, high-quality provider of core infrastructure including electricity distribution, district heating and fibre in Falköping, Sweden.

Infracapital is part of M&G Plc, a leading European savings and investments business. M&G manages the long-term savings of more than 5 million people and is a major investor in the UK and in the global economy. Total assets under management are £339 billion (as at 30 June 2020).

FEAB supplies electricity, heat and fibre broadband to customers in the municipality of Falköping. FEAB’s district heating network is supplied by 100% renewable energy and was marked ‘Good Environmental Choice’ by the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation. The company operates an electricity network of over 2,200 km with over 17,000 customers.
