Groundbreaking for Ersta new Hospital

Ersta diakoni has officially kicked off the construction of Ersta’s new hospital in Stockholm. According to plan, the new hospital will be completed in 2023, and is expected to provide 60,000 patient visits, 90 hospital beds and 6,000 performed surgeries, annually.

Ersta diakoni is a non-profit organisation founded in the 1850s, and is currently one of Sweden’s leading providers within idea-based care and social work, on a non-profit basis.

Mannheimer Swartling has acted as legal advisor to Ersta diakoni in connection with the construction project, both regarding issues concerning construction and real estate and the financing of the project.
