Eolus Vind sells 232 MW wind power to Aquila Capital

Eolus Vind has signed an agreement with Aquila Capital regarding the sale of the wind parks Kråktorpet and Nylandsbergen comprising 61 Vestas V136 3.8 MW wind turbines with a combined installed capacity of 232 MW. The preliminary purchase price is EUR 264 million.

The transaction covers the sale of all the shares in the project companies that hold the project rights for the wind parks. Eolus Vind will construct both wind parks. Kråktorpet comprises 43 turbines with a capacity of 163.4 MW and will be subject to project financing. Nylandsbergen comprises 18 turbines with a capacity of 68.4 MW. Both wind parks will be commissioned during 2019.

As part of the transaction it has been agreed that Eolus Vind will provide technical, operational and administrative services during seven years for both the wind parks.
