Bonnier and Amedia acquire MittMedia

Bonnier and Amedia have acquired MittMedia, a Swedish publishing house and owner of 28 local newspapers. Amedia will own a minority stake of 20% in MittMedia.

Bonnier is the owner of the Nordic’s leading media companies and Amedia is Norway’s largest publisher of local media titles.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval.

Amedia was advised by Wikborg Rein and Mannheimer Swartling.
