Bejier Electronics acquires the Irish company Virtual Access

Beijer Electronics Group AB (publ) has on 30 October 2019 through its subsidiary Westermo acquired the Virtual Access Ltd from its founders and a group of investors. Virtual Access, established in Ireland since 1996, specialises in wireless industrial routers and gateways, and managed connectivity services for customers in the utility, traffic management and telecommunications sectors.

Beijer Electronics Group engages mainly in the design and manufacture of data communication products bridging the interface between human and machine in critical communication networks and IIoT (industrial Internet of things) solutions across a raft of sectors such as industry, transportation, real estate and infrastructure.

Bejier Electronics was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction with the Irish firm William Fry advising on local law matters.
