Basecamp Student acquires the property Tåten 1 from Skandia Fastigheter

The student housing developer BaseCamp Student has acquired the property Tåten 1 from Skandia Fastigheter. The acquisition of Tåten 1 will be BaseCamp’s first Swedish establishment. The property is located in the Masthusen district of Malmö, which is Sweden’s first sustainability certified district. BaseCamp plans for around 640 student housing spaces, which will increase the city’s student housing by about 30 per cent.

BaseCamp Student operates in six locations in Denmark, Germany and Poland. Their concept for student housing focuses to a great extent on design and service.

BaseCamp Student was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction.
