BAMA acquires Saba Fresh Cuts from Dole
BAMA International AS has entered into an agreement with Dole Food Company, Inc. regarding the purchase of all shares in Saba Fresh Cuts AB and Saba Fresh Cuts Oy. The transaction is subject to approval by the European Commission.
Saba Fresh Cuts, with production facilities in Helsingborg and Espoo, produces washed and ready-to-eat salads and vegetables, to the retail and foodservice industry in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany and the Baltics. BAMA is Norway’s leading distributor of high-quality fresh fruit and fresh vegetables.
BAMA was advised by the law firms Thommessen, Dittmar & Indrenius (in relation to Finnish aspects) and Mannheimer Swartling (in relation to Swedish aspects) in the transaction.
