Dramaten and Mannheimer Swartling launch partnership
Mannheimer Swartling is launching a new long-term pro bono partnership with Dramaten, Sweden’s national theatre. The purpose of the collaboration is to exchange knowledge and to offer unique cultural experiences.
“We are very pleased to initiate this partnership with Dramaten”, says Jan Dernestam, Managing Partner at Mannheimer Swartling. “Dramaten is Sweden’s national theatre and one of the hubs of Swedish cultural life. We look forward to a rewarding collaboration that can strengthen the role of culture in the business community and society at large.”
“Mannheimer Swartling is a leading business law firm in Sweden. Their keen interest in art and theatre has been crucial to our collaboration. For Dramaten, it is also a part of our efforts to be able to continue to offer a broad national and international repertoire,” says Kitte Wagner, CEO of Dramaten.
The partnership is renewed on an annual basis. However, Mannheimer Swartling and Dramaten look forward to a long-term and fruitful collaboration with many positive effects.
The Royal Dramatic Theatre, better known as Dramaten, is Sweden’s national stage. The theatre operates under a mandate from the Swedish government, with a mission to, among other things, manage the history of theatre as well as develop the art of theatre. Dramaten is thus the scene for classics, newly written theatre and theatre for children and young people. The theatre is in its entirety owned by the Swedish state. Its CEO is Kitte Wagner and Mattias Andersson is the artistic director and theatre manager.
Mannheimer Swartling has a long tradition of supporting culture and community involvement. Read more here.
