Storskogen acquires five companies from Ceder Capital
On 5 July 2021, Storskogen agreed to acquire the majority of the shares in Adero, the SoVent Group, Buildercom, Viametrics and Persson Innovation from Ceder Capital and a number of minority shareholders. The companies had a combined turnover of approximately SEK 900 million in 2020.
Adero is a supplier of technical ventilation installation services in Stockholm and the Uppsala area. Adero focuses on large and complex commercial and public construction projects.
SoVent Group is active in consolidating the market for chimney sweeping and ventilation services and currently comprises of more than 30 companies.
Buildercom is a provider of cloud-based information management solutions for property owners and construction companies in Finland. The platform offers information management and archiving services used from the construction phase to maintenance and management of the property.
Viametrics is an international provider of people counting solutions and provides real estate owners, retailers and municipalities with traffic data. Viametrics services are used in 50 countries and more than 15,000 locations.
Persson Innovation is a supplier of carrying handles and applicator machines to the packaging industry. The company enables customers to reduce or eliminate the use of plastics in packaging applications.
Storskogen acquires and operates well-managed and profitable small and medium sized companies with leading positions in their respective markets. At the end of the first half-year 2021, Storskogen consisted of 94 business units with a total of 7,000 employees and a turnover of almost SEK 11.5 billion.
The transactions are expected to be completed at the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2021.
