Reno De Medici acquires Fiskeby

Italian based Reno De Medici, one of the leading producers in the recycled cartonboard business and the largest producer in Italy, France, the Netherlands, and the Iberian Peninsula, has entered into an agreement with Fiskeby Holdings US LLC, controlled by the Coors family, to purchase all shares in the Swedish Fiskeby group.

Fiskeby was founded in Norrköping, Sweden, in 1637, as one of the first paper manufacturers in Europe and has today around 275 employees, with an annual turnover of approximately SEK 1.2 billion. Fiskeby is the only company in Scandinavia to manufacture packaging board made of 100% recovered fibre. The transaction is subject to customary competition approval.
