Lindab divests Romanian operations
Lindab has entered into an agreement to divest its operations in Romania. The divestment is part of the previously announced restructuring within the Profile Systems business area in Eastern Europe. The business, which has approximately 100 employees and annual sales of around SEK 210 million, consists of production, warehousing and a sales organisation. The buyers have previously participated in the acquisitions of Lindab’s subsidiary in Slovakia and of the profile business in Hungary. The company will act as both distributor and a licensed manufacturer for many of Lindab’s profile products.
The transaction is expected to be finalised during the first quarter of 2026.
Lindab is a leading ventilation company in Europe, developing, manufacturing, marketing and distributing products and system solutions for energy-efficient ventilation and a healthy indoor climate.
Lindab was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team consisted of Rickard Carrick, William Ahlberg, Jens Meynert, Lucas Leger Jonsson, Karin Palade and Gustav Nordström.
