Legora acquires Qura
Legora has acquired Qura, bringing the two companies together with the aim of creating the world’s leading legal research product. The Qura team will join Legora’s legal research organisation and focus on expanding their model to larger markets, including the United States.
Legora is a global leader in AI solutions for legal professionals, serving over 1,000 leading law firms and in-house legal teams in more than 50 markets worldwide. It has developed a collaborative AI platform designed to help legal professionals navigate complex legal frameworks across various jurisdictions with accuracy and traceability.
Founded in 2023, Qura is a Stockholm-based company that has rapidly established itself as a pioneer in AI-native legal research. Instead of relying on traditional retrieval methods, Qura has developed structured, AI-native legal databases that facilitate precise and dependable legal reasoning.
